Let's face it, you are paying a lot of money to have your special day to be videotaped.  I want to share with you exactly what you are to expect.

1.  You will have a videographer that will dress professionally.  I have been doing this for a long time.  I will look and act like a professional. I usually wear Khaki pants with a dark green or black long sleeve button shirt with a small embroidered logo that says Fox4 Video.

2.  I plan on attending the rehearsal.  I do it for two reasons.  It allows me to chat with you and go over any last minute changes and it also helps me decide where to position myself for the ceremony.

3.  It's my goal to be in a position to see the ceremony, but  not be the center of attention.  However, I do need to be in front of the church.  I really want to see your faces during the vows.  I try to hide behind the organist, or tuck myself into a corner.

4.   I will place a wireless microphone on the groom at around 30 minutes prior to the ceremony.  It's a small black microphone about the size of a push pin.  My camera only records audio when the camera is recording.  It's my goal to make you look good and sound good.  I edit all my audio and video.  During the ceremony, the brides vows will be easily picked up by the grooms mic.  I will pick up the microphone at the reception, or before the final church pictures.

6.  I am usually the first person in the church on the day of your ceremony.  I like to have my equipment set up and double checked by the time people start arriving.

7.  Do not hesitate to ask any questions.

8.  I always take a few minutes to eat at the reception I'm usually hungry, but I am always watching to make sure I do not miss anything.

9.  The most difficult part of the day is shooting the best man/maid of honor speeches.  I usually need to stand somewhat close to the best man and maid of honor to ensure optimum audio quality.  (Within 6 feet)

10.  I use up to two Canon XL1 digital cameras along with one JVC GY-DV 500 digital camcorder.  They are professional broadcast quality cameras.  They do not look like a camera bought at Walmart.  (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

11.  Payment must be recieved in full before the finished product will be mailed to you.  It usually take two to three weeks to receive your finished copy.  This depends on my work load.

12.  I always keep the original copy.  In the future, if you ever want an additional copy...just ask.

13.  I never shoot more than one wedding on a day.  It is your day only.  I will not try to double dip and do two weddings on one day. There is no way a videographer can do a good job by doing two weddings on one day.
